Our service

This is an obstetric and gynecology specialist service for women who need emergency care for acute gynaecological problems such as pelvic pain, post gynaecology surgical problems, heavy menstrual bleeding (severe menorrhagia), urine infections, vulval infections or problems, and acute pelvic inflammatory disease.

We also see women who need consultation in pregnancy.

There are facilities for examination and ultrasound scanning and Cardiotocography (CTG) examination. 

The service is supported by a specialised doctor and a midwife.
