Dr Ioannis Thanopoulos, MD, M.Sc
Ioannis Thanopoulos has been practicing ObGyn for 10 years. He completed his undergraduate and medical school studies at the University of Patras in Greece and his postgraduated studies at Athens Medical School. His Master’s degree is focusing on high risk pregnancy and the pathology of the cervix.
He also practiced ObGyn in James Paget University Hospital in UK for 2 years.
Dr Thanopoulos is trained in the application of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynaecology and specializes in colposcopy (examination of cervix, vagina and vulva).
He believes in truly being present with his patients and his holistic approach generates trust and alleviates concern during every encounter.
